"Everything begins with this vision and hope: to put the neighbor in touch with God in Christ." - Rowan Williams

Relationships exist on a continuum. There are a lot of ways to be in relationship with one another, to be a part of - or have - community. And what's more is that we need multiple ways of connecting with one another.

Community groups function as one aspect of the continuum, one way of connecting. Groups at Redemption consist of those who have banded together, typically about 6-12 people, in order that we as the church might become more faithful followers of Jesus Christ. They are vital for our learning how, as Paul says in Philippians, to order our common life in a manner worthy of the gospel.

Groups meet on various days and under the leadership of many different kinds of people. We are learning to have a sensibility for creative ways to gather through which might be caught up in the story of God for the life of the world.
