THE SEASON OF EASTER

Eastertide is the season of the liturgical year that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It begins on Easter Sunday and lasts for 50 days, ending on Pentecost Sunday. Eastertide is a time of joy and celebration, as Christians remember and participate in the hope of the Christian story. Eastertide is a time for Christians to reflect on the meaning of Jesus' resurrection. It is a time to remember that Jesus ordered death and offers new life.
